Rome, July 30th 2009 AIOMI, the Italian Association for the Interactive Multimedia - Movement for the Videogame Culture (www.aiomi.it), will take part to the Dubai World Game Expo 2009, main event in the Middle East dedicated to the videogame entertainment, that will take place from October 27th to October 29, 2009.

After having successfully organized the first edition of the IVDC, the Italian congress of the game developers (www.ivdconf.it/eng), AIOMI will act as the official spokesperson of the Italian Game Developers Industry, the group in Confindustria made of the main game developing companies in Italy.

“The first important goal, to make all the Italian game developers join under the same flag, has been already obtained with the gamescom in Koln,” Raoul Carbone, President of the IGDI and General Secretary of AIOMI, declares. “Now we need to make this new reality known in the international circuits and to present it in a place with a strong economy like Dubai is a good starting point.”
